I contribute regularly to TV Guide, Life & Style, and Hollywood.com. I have also written for several newspapers, magazines and web sites, including , Budget Travel and SavvyMiss.com. I frequently contribute to Finnish newspapers and magazines, including Hufvustadsbladet, Vasabladet, Jakobstads Tidning, Löntagaren, Åbo Underrättelser, and Västerbottens Kuriren.

I have written segments for radio and served as a popculture expert on TV.

2003- 2006
Project Officer, Consulate General of Finland, Los Angeles

As a consular officer I was responsible for all visa applicants going to Finland or Denmark. I indirectly represented the entire Schengen area and needed to be familiar with current immigration rules at all times.

Other duties included producing web content, general admin and maintaining contacts with other consular staff in Los Angeles.
